Abstract:

[Objective]In the paper the study aimed to study the effect of soil nutrient around broad-leaved trees on Phyllostachys growth in the mixed forest .[Method]the correlation between the spatial distribution of soil nutrient around broad-leaved trees and the growth of Phyllostachys in Tian Long Shan Nature Reserve Area in Chang Ning City in Hunan province was used.[Results]The results showed that:(1)The obvious differences of the mean DBH of all bamboo and new culms and the number of new culms existed in the different annular zone around the trees and in whole stand. The growth of Ph. increased with the distance from the broad-leaved trees.(2)The clear differences of soil nutrients were coincident with the distribution differences of Phyllostachys in the different annular zones around the same trees.the mean DBH of new culms increased with the higher content of soil nutrient.the evident differences of soil nutrients were seen in the same annular zones of different broad-leaved trees.(3)Except the organic phosphorus, all the soil nutrient factors reached the obvious level(p<0.05) or best obvious level(p<0.01).(4)The grey correlation analysis between the mean DBH of new culms and soil nutrient around trees showed that the influence order of soil nutrients on new culms was total phosphorus, soluble nitrogen, total nitrogen, soluble phosphorus, organic carbon, soluble kalium. The analysis also showed that the relationship between the mean DBH of new culms and all soil nutrient was obvious(p<0.05). [Conclusion] The conclusion has great significance in Phyllostachys cultivation in the same areas.
