Abstract:

Abstract: Yellow pigment was extracted from peanut hulls by the method of microwave-assisted extraction. Using single factor test and orthogonal method, the effects of particle size,the microwave output power, the microwave-assisted extraction irradiation time, the solution pH, material-solvent ratio and alcohol concentration were investigated. The optimal extraction conditions were as follow: particle size 80,microwave output power 360w, microwave-assisted extraction irradiation time 220s, ratios of solvent to material 1g:15ml,pH 3.0, alcohol concentration 50％. Based on these conditions ,the absorptivity A385 was 1.432 ,the yield was 3.26%,the color value was 8.6. The pigment is yellow and belong to flavonoid pigments.
