Abstract:

The experiment was to study the large-scale embryo transfer in sheep by super-ovulation, embryo collection and synchrony. The results were the pregnancy rates were 68.1%, 71.9%, 43.2% of 1 fresh embryo, 2 fresh embryos and 2 frozen embryos transferred into recipients, respectively. Meanwhile, recipients transferred with 2 embryos can gain 51% more twin-lamb rate.
