Abstract:
Three kinds of ecological floating beds were made of Beta vulgaris , Brassica oleracea , Lycoris radiata, respectively, to study their effects on removing nitrogen and phosphorus from eutrophicated landscape water under lower temperature condition in winter. The experiment lasted 60 days. The results indicated that three ornamental plants were adaptable to grow in the eutrophicated landscape water. Three plants had good removal effects on the CODCr、TN、TP、and NH3-N , which were higher than the control treatment. The removal rates of N by Beta vulgaris , Brassica oleracea , Lycoris radiata were 64.0%, 53.0%, 32.9%, respectively, all of which were higher than the control (20.04%). The removal rates of NH3-N were 93.1%, 88.4%, 75.3%, espectively. The investigation will offer a reason for the choice of floating bed plant in winter.
