Abstract: Abstract: Staging with the actual situation of rural construction land in Chongqing, this paper constructs the indictors system of intensive utilization in order to confirm the indictors’ importance by using AHP method. Then analyzes the level of intensive utilization and changing rule of Chongqing’s rural construction land in 1999-2007.And the same of every country’s rural construction land in Chongqing in 2007 with the GIS technology. The result shows that: The level of intensive utilization of Chongqing’s rural construction land descends first and then increases, and in the state of a low degree overall. In the spatial, the level of intensive utilization of the areas close to the one-hour economic circle is higher than the Northeast and Southeast of Chongqing. At last, this paper proposes measures and suggestions on the promotion of intensive utilization of rural construction land based the result.
