Abstract:

The Karyotype of Perccottus glenii was studied through the chromosome metaphase prepared from the cells of the gill、kidney and intestines by the colchicine-hypotonic-air drying technique and Giemsa staining.It was observed by Leica microscope.The analysis of chromosome Karyotype of Perccottus glenii was according to Levan’s standard.The result shows that the number of the Chromosome of Perccottus glenii is 2n=44,n=22. Its fundamental arm number(NF) is 82. Its karyotype comprises 18 pairs of submetacentric chromsome, 1 pair of subtelocentric chromosome and 3 pair of telocentric chromosome.That means 2n=36sm+2st+6t.According to the analysis of the conformation of the chromosome ,there is no sex chromosome existing.
