Abstract: This paper studied the effects of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilization on mid-season rice by the different combinations of NPK fertilizer fertilization experiment, which was conducted in Jingzhou city, Hubei Province. The result showed that the effect of N fertilization on mid-season rice yield and economic benefit was largest among the three nutrients, The highest increment of N, P2O5 and K2O were 1 291, 391and 676 kg/hm2, and which were 20%, 5.9% and 10.6% higher than that of control, respectively. The net income of N, P and K were 1 073, 283and 190yuan/hm2 respectively. According to the model of fertilizer effect, the highest yield will be reached when N, P2O5and K2O application rate are 123, 64and126 kg/hm2 and the highest profit will be reached when N, P2O5 and K2O application rate are 110, 60and 70 kg/hm2, respectively.
