Abstract: Fertilizer widely used in modern agriculture brought some negative impacts while increasing crop yields. To solve these problems, the limited amount of N and advised amount of P, K and seasons and methods of fertilizer application were formulated in Denmark. Therefore, the quantity of nutrients could be corrected according to soil test and crop yields. This is a good example to China to do with fertilizer problem. What should be done is to limit the use of fertilizer, enhance the knowledge of farmers, encourage organic fertilizer and improve fertilizing methods.
