Abstract: The weighted average tree species abundance, Simpson index, Shannon index and dominance index were analyzed for natural forest communities, half-natural forest communities and some types of gardening plant communities dominated by trees. The results indicated that the dominance index of the arbor layer is great in the natural forest, the number of dominant of the arbor layer is lower than that in the artificial forest, and the species diversity of the communities in park green spaces is the richest of the three types in the city.
