Abstract:

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) is a positive-strand RNA virus that belongs to the Arteriviridae family. The genomic RNA is approximately 15 kb. The genome encodes the RNA replicase (ORF1a and ORF1b), the glycoproteins(GP2 to GP5), the integral membrane protein M(ORF6), and the nucleocapsid protein N (ORF7). Each of the a PRRSV distinct role in virus infection ,immune response etc. This thesis sums up the research and application of the structural proteins of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) virus.
