Abstract:

Plant endophyte is a new microorganism source with potential application in agriculture,medicine and food industry，but the documents about fern endophyte were limit.Recent advances on the biodiversity, active constituent and functional metabolites of fern endophytic were summarized with some speculative comments for the prospects and problem about plant endophyte as a new source of natural medicines.
