Animal Husbandry’s Development and Low-carbon Economy

Abstract:

Low-carbon economy refers to the least greenhouse gases discharged during the dev- elopment of economy, to gain the largest output of the entire social economy at the same time. It is the economic model that is based on low-power, low emissions, low pollution. Low-carbon economy not only is economic problem, but also is environmental problems and the social problems. The paper analyzed thoroughly the two difficult problems of environmental pollution and food security that the development of animal husbandry faced in our country, pointed out that the animal husbandry industry must take the road of low-carbon economy, and it should achieve energy saving and emission reduction through resource utilization of animal wastes and nutritional manipulation measures; To utilize agro-industrial wastes resources rationally, including the rational use of the waste resources of straw, food and oil industry to achieve grain-saving production, and to achieve the sustainable development of animal husbandry and vigorously develop the cycling breeding pattern in the guidance of circular economy concept. At the same time, according to many problems which exists in the transition from animal husbandry to a low carbon economy, put forward that it should breakthrough innovation, technology innovation and management innovation to promote the development of low-carbon economy.
