Evaluation of Rural Residential Land Intensive Utilization Applying Entropy Method

Abstract:

This paper applies entropy method to the evaluation of rural residential land intensive utilization and calculation of each index power. It uses the integrated weighting method to calculate intensive degree of rural residential land. Finally, this paper takes 30 townships of Qianjiang District and the region as the evaluation targets and according to the principle of scientific, systematic, representative, operability to select indexes. Result indicate that the most important factors influencing on the rural residential land intensive utilization is land utilization investment, then are the land utilization structure, land utilization intensity and land utilization benefit. The level of cultivated land intensive utilization needs to be raised. The intensive degree of cultivated land is disparate phenomenally in areas. Conclusion: We should improve the investment rural in planning, management of residential land. Entropy method can be more accurate evaluation target. The research provides the reference for later index selection. Still need further discussion on how to improve the rural residential land’s intensified use level.
