Abstract:

Lentinula edodes, a famous edible fungus in the world, is a typical bifactorial heterothallic homobasidiomycete, whose mating type factors play an important role in the life cycle. The studies of mating type factors is the foundations of further research on inheritance, breeding, strain improvement and variety identification. This paper focused on the amounts, distorted segregation, secondary recombination, gene mapping and gene clone of mating type factors in Lentinula edodes.
