Abstract:
By means of calcium precipitation, the effects of calcium chloride dosage, pH and standing time on fluoride remove were studied in order to optimize the parameters. Under different dosage of calcium chloride (at 100%, 150%, 200%, 250%, respectively), the effects of pH and standing time on fluoride were analyzed. The results showed that, three factors of the best combination were calcium chloride dosage of 250%, pH 8.5, standing time at least 50min,and under this condition, the concentration of fluoride was reduced from 20mg/L to 7mg/L; therefore, the application of this method can effectively reduce endemic fluorosis in rural areas.
