Abstract:
Soil carbon sequestration plays an important role in global warming and concerns for it has been increased. Management measurements of organic agriculture such as applying organic manures, conservation tillage, straw return and rotation could promote soil aggregates and increased microbial activity, enhanced increasing SOC, which influences soil carbon sequestration greatly. The effects of organic agriculture on soil carbon sequestration and biodiversity were reviewed objectively and in detail in this paper. There are a few studies in this field in China and more researches should be taken in this field.
