Abstract:

In order to research different of grate area on tobacco quality and performance of bulk curing barn, comparative tests were conducted about different grate area, which grate area was respectively A: 0.585 m2（0.86 m×0.68 m, B: 0.482 m2 (0.86 m×0.56 m) and C: 0.385 m2 (0.74 m×0.52 m). It showed :(1) There was on obvious difference between the level and vertical temperature difference which was within 3℃. (2) There was great 8.9℃ temperature difference the setting and measured value in color stage with C treatment, but A and B treatment temperature difference of setting and measured was within 3℃. (3) A and B treatment had no significant differences in the quality of cured tobacco and curing cost, but it was adverse effect of C treatment.
