Abstract:
By analyzing the status of traditional agricultural knowledge service systems, the shortcoming were pointed out, such as, lack of semantic support and application in the agricultural field. It was necessary to construct an agricultural knowledge services system based on semantic web and ontology. By analyzing the demands of all kinds of users in tea fields, the main module and workflow adapted to the actual production of tea were designed; the module was composed of three-tired structure: user service interface, knowledge service platform and knowledge base. A tea knowledge services system was initially realized, with the solution of some key technologies, such as the construction of tea ontology, information retrieve from internet, the system architecture and development tools.
