Abstract:

Compared with the world’s tropical crops, this study analyzed tropical crops industry, and discussed the development target and pattern chosen of tropical crops industry. Then three strategy routines for the tropical crops industrial development in China were brought forward. First, basing on moderate scale of development at home, to improve output and quality of tropical products and then establish a proper modern tropical crops industrial system; Second, to implement the "introducing" strategy in order to enhance its general production capacity; Third, to carry out the strategy of "going out" to exploit the international market, to cooperate oversea resources-exploring, and to promote our international competitiveness. It provided reference for tropical agriculture effectively.
