Abstract:

In order to alleviate soil and water erosion, influences of land use, slope, altitude and coverage to soil erosion were investigated and analyzed at the base of techniques of 3S and theories on soil and water conservation through interpreting ALOS image of 2008 in Huangqian valley. In the studied valley，mild soil erosion and moderate soil erosion were the main erosion types. And the erosion mainly happened in forest land and garden plots where the slope was 5°~35°, the altitude was 200~800 meters and the vegetation coverage was 45%~75%. Most soil and water erosion distributed in garden plots of intense human activities, which proved that human activities had large influence on soil erosion of valley.
