Abstract:

Being Orchidaceae Dendrobium’s plants, Dendrobium nobile was favored by consumers as its beautiful color and flowering characteristics. The research achievements on Dendrobium nobile in biological characters, propagation, effects of environmental factors and flowering-control were summarized. Furthermore, some problems existed were discussed in this paper. Considering how to solve the flowering control and improve the quality was very important today. And using hormones to control flowering and breeding some new varieties demand low-temperature, early flowering would also be future research direction of Dendrobium nobile.
