Application Potentiality of Biochar on Tobacco Planting

摘要: “卷烟上水平” 的行业战略任务日益彰显, 烟草品质却一直没有显著提高, 而且植烟土壤质量日益恶化。通过传统方法来解决这些问题已近瓶颈, 需要寻找潜在的解决方法。生物质炭本身就是一种有机质, 并含有多种养分元素, 官能团丰富, 孔隙结构发达, 吸附能力强, 对优化土壤环境具有较大潜力。生物质炭对烟草生长有促进作用, 但表现为滞后性。适量施用生物质炭可以提高烟叶内在化学成分协调性, 促进烟叶品质提高。基于此, 笔者综述了生物质炭特性及其对作物和土壤性质的影响, 旨在为烟草实际生产中生物质炭的推广应用提供参考。

Abstract: Although producing“high level tobacco”has become the strategic mission of the tobacco industry, the tobacco quality has not been remarkably improved and the tobacco- planted soil has been gradually deteriorated. Traditional methods have reached a bottleneck, and finding a potential solution is urgent. Biochar is a kind of organic matter, which has various nutrient elements, abundant functional groups, developed pore structure and high adsorptive capacity, it has great potential in soil environment optimization. Biochar could enhance tobacco growth, while with hysteresis. Appropriate application of biochar could coordinate the chemical component in tobacco leaves and improve tobacco- leaf quality. This paper summarized the characteristics of biochar and its effects on crop and soil property, in order to provide references for biochar application to tobacco production.
