Several Factors Affecting Beet Quality

摘要: 甜菜块根中的组成成分直接影响制糖过程中的糖分提取,其中钾、钠、α-氮是具有代表性的影响糖分提取的有害灰分。甜菜是以制糖为目的,糖分是重要的评价指标,但钾、钠、α-氮三种灰分含量直接影响提取糖量,因此在甜菜中糖分、钾、钠、α-氮称为评价甜菜品质的四项指标,以此来判定甜菜块根的优劣。本文在总结文献以及相关研究的基础上就有关影响甜菜品质的影响因素进行探讨,为评价甜菜块根质量提供科学依据。

Abstract: The chemical components of sugar beet root are considered to have a direct influence on the extraction of sugar during the process of sugar production in factory. Among the chemical components, potassium, sodium andα -nitrogen are usually regarded as representative harmful ash extracted from sugar beet. The purpose of planting sugar beet is making sugar, and the content of sugar is used as an important evaluation index. But the three harmful ash, potassium, sodium andα -nitrogen directly affect the extraction of sugar. Therefore, sugar, potassium, sodium andα -nitrogen are usually used as the four indicators to evaluate the quality of beet roots. Based on summarizing literatures and related researches, the influence factors of beet quality are analyzed and discussed in this paper, and the importance of quality evaluation of sugar beet root is highlighted. At the same time, the present situation of beet cultivation in China is analyzed, the existing problems in the cultivation are studied, and several suggestions are raised, aiming to provide reference for improving sugar beet quality.
