The Coordinated Development of Population and Land Urbanization in Jiangsu Province

摘要:

分析江苏省及三大区域的人口与土地城镇化协调发展水平,推进其城镇化高质量发展。通过构建人口与土地城镇化评价指标体系,运用变异系数法和熵值法确定权重,并采用耦合协调度模型对2000—2018年江苏省和2018年13个地级市的人口与土地城镇化协调发展进行研究。研究表明:(1)2000—2001、2003—2013年江苏省人口城镇化指数略高于土地城镇化指数,属于土地城镇化滞后型;2002、2014—2018年江苏省土地城镇化指数高于人口城镇化指数,属于人口城镇化滞后型。(2)江苏省人口与土地城镇化协调度等级分别为失调(2000—2001年),中低度协调(2002—2004年),中度协调(2005—2008年),中高度协调(2009—2012年),高度协调(2013—2018年)。(3)江苏省人口与土地城镇化滞后型空间呈现“南北”结构,江苏省城镇化水平不均衡且两极化现象突出。(4)除徐州市外,江苏省的人口城镇化和土地城镇化的协调度呈现“由南向北递减的阶梯状分布”,其中南京市的人口与土地城镇化协调度最高,宿迁市最低。该研究得出了江苏省人口与土地城镇化的时间演变规律及空间格局特征,为江苏省人口与土地城镇化协调发展指明了前进的方向。

Abstract:

By analyzing the coordinated development level of population and land urbanization in Jiangsu Province and its three major regions (the south, central and north Jiangsu), we aim to promote the high-quality development of urbanization. By constructing a population and land urbanization evaluation index system, we used the coefficient of variation method and the entropy method to determine the weights and adopted the coupling coordination degree model to study the coordination of population and land urbanization of Jiangsu Province from 2000 to 2018 and that of 13 prefecture-level cities of the province in 2018. The results showed that: (1) the population urbanization index of Jiangsu Province was slightly higher than that of the land urbanization index from 2000 to 2001 and from 2003 to 2013, which was a lagging type of land urbanization; the land urbanization index of Jiangsu Province was higher than that of the population in 2002 and from 2014 to 2018, the urbanization index belonged to the lagging type of population urbanization; (2) the degree of coordination between population and land urbanization in Jiangsu Province was unbalanced (2000 to 2001), of medium-low coordination (2002 to 2004), of moderate coordination (2005 to 2008), of medium-high coordination (2009 to 2012), and of high coordination (2013 to 2018); (3) the lagging space of population and land urbanization in Jiangsu Province presented a ‘north-south’ structure, the level of urbanization in Jiangsu Province was uneven and the phenomenon of polarization was prominent; (4) except Xuzhou City, the coordination degree of population urbanization and land urbanization in Jiangsu Province showed a ‘step-like distribution down from south to north’, Nanjing City had the highest degree of coordination between population and land urbanization, and Suqian City had the lowest degree of coordination. This study obtained the temporal evolution law and spatial pattern characteristics of the population and land urbanization in Jiangsu Province, and stated the direction for the coordinated development of population and land urbanization in the province.
