Abstract: Based on practical investigation, the author of this article presents the current state of citrus industry of Chenggu county from management and technology respectively, and point out the problems in the development of citrus industry of Chenggu county. The operational and managerial problems include that the points of view of the local citrus planters lag behind and they are not systematically organized, the structure of industry chain appears to be loose. Besides, the citrus trees suffer from injury due to low-temperature and drought, the citrus fruits are not fully commercialized after harvest, these are listed as problems in production and technology. In order to promote the development of citrus industry, such strategies are strongly recommended, strengthening standardized education and implementing standardized production, developing citrus tourism, enforcing low-temperature injury prevention and control of citrus trees, optimizing and adjusting breed structure of citrus etc.
