Abstract:

To regulate the blooming in out of season and concentrated flowering. Dimocarpus longan ‘Si Jimi’ was chose as the materials to study the effects of springtime pruning, growth of the basic branch unit of bearing shoot and growth regulators on flower formation. The result showed, it needed 93.3-156.1 d for the bearing base shoot unit to develop from pruning to the second or third shoots turn green, when it was mature enough to form flower bud. Treat with paclobutrazol (PP333), ethrel and cytokinin during the periods of young shoots turn green. There were 17 treatments in this experimentation, all of the treatment can induce Dimocarpus longan ‘Si Jimi’ flowering. The flowering rates of top shoot were 55.1%-98.4%, and the tidiness rates of flower formation were 92.1%-100.0%. According to the experiment results, treat the materials with 75 mg/L PP333 and 142.8 mg/L ethrel combine solution during the periods of young shoots turn green, 37.5 mg/L PP333 and 142.8 mg/L ethrel when the top having bud, and 25.5 mg/L PP333 if the shoots flushing were recommended.
