摘要： 知识产权是核心竟争力中最重要的组成部分。为提高植物新品种保护意识，保护育种者权益，发展中国可持续农业，本文从当前经济形势出发，系统分析了开展植物新品种保护的重要性和必要性，并提出六点加强植物新品种保护的建议。

关键词: 苎麻, 苎麻, 品种, 纤维细度, 耐Cd能力, 阈值

Abstract: Nowadays, knowledge authority is a vital element for economic contest. To enhance the public consciousness of Plant Variety Protection (PVP), safeguard the breeders’ interests and improve the sustainable agricultural system in china, the importance and necessity of PVP were discussed systematically in this paper based on the economic status of China. According to the discussion, Six portions of suggestions were putted forward to reinforce the works of PVP.
