Abstract: A field experiment was conducted to study the effects of organic fertilizer, DCD and the compound agents of oxalate, glycine (Gly) and KCl on the yield and quality of pakchoi. The results showed that the yield and soluble sugar content of pakchoi were increased drastically through applying right amount organic fertilizer. Applying organic fertilizer could reduce nitrate accumulation by 18.36% compared to the contrast, and but the nutrient quality was not affected significantly by the application of manure. Moreover, nNitrate content was reduced by 7.64% and 11.77% % respectively respectively through applying DCD in soil and or foliar spraying compound agents of oxalate, glycine ( Gly )and KCl before harvest, while the yield and quality were not affected significantly. On the other hand, fFoliar spraying compound agent increased Nitrate reductase activity (NRA) in pakchoi. It followsThese results suggested that The the corporation of DCD or foliar spraying compound agents of oxalate, glycine ( Gly) and KCl before harvest is available to raise yield and drop nitrate content in pakchoi on the basis of right amount organic fertilizer application in field.
