Abstract: A pot culture experiment was carried out to study the bio-effect of cadmium (Cd)- phosphorus(P) interaction on oilseed rape under alternate wetting and drying cycles condition in greenhouse. The result showed that it were significant in shoot dry biomass production by plants of rape in Cd treatment, P treatment and the interaction of Cd and P treatment, and in root dry biomass production, it was also significant in P treatment, while other treatments were not. Phosphorus improved the shoot and root growth on rape, but cadmium blocked the shoot and root growth on rape. The maximum dry biomass production was present to the Cd0P100 treatment, while the least was Cd30P0 treatment. The uptake of total Cd content increased with P and Cd increase. The significant was found in P concentration in shoot and root of rape in P treatment, while it was not in Cd treatment and the interaction of Cd and P treatment. And the P and Cd concentration of the shoot of rape always lower than the root of the rape.
