Abstract:
To optimize the microwave-assisted extraction process of Camellia oleifera, Box-behnken design (BBD) combined with response surface methodology has been used to evaluate the effects of process parameters including extraction time, microwave power and solvent/material ratio on yield of Camellia oleifera. In the optimization, Design Expert 8.0.5 software was used to fit BBD experimental data and a quadratic polynomial regression model was developed for yield as a response to the above parameters. Results showed that the optimal values of technological parameters were as follows: extraction time 4 min, microwave power 500 W and solvent/material ratio 3.4:1(mL/g).
