Abstract: In order to understand the change of morphological and physiological characteristics after storage, effects of six different nutritional substrates on tomato plug-seedlings quality maintenance under storage condition were studied in this paper. Tomato‘Qingyan No.1’was taken as experimental material, through simulated storage condition experiment and experimental analysis. The results showed that the contents of chlorophyll, soluble protein, and soluble sugar decreased in the leaves of tomato, but the falling ranges were different among the plug-seedlings cultivated with six different substrates and stored under same conditions. For tomato plug-seedlings storage, the optimal inorganic nutritional substrates was based substrates (turf: pearlite = 2:1) + SRFS (20-9-11) 30 g, organic nutritional substrates was basic substrates + 10% chicken manure+ 5% plant ash.
