Abstract: ‘Ximi 3’is a early-maturing melon cultivar with high yield, superior quality, higher economic benefit, resistant and tolerant to storage, which was selected by hybrid heterosis, and was suitable for protected cultivation. It was certificated and registered by Shaanxi Committee for Crop Variety Registration in 2009. The efficiently cultivated specifications of‘Ximi 3’were also established. The proper sowing date was from October 20 to October 30 in earliest spring. The suitable planting density was 30000 plants/hm², using one vine with one fruit, when the nitrogen fertilizer amount was 300 kg/hm² (pure nitrogen), phosphorus fertilizer amount was K2O 150 kg/hm² (P2O5), K fertilizer rate was 375 kg/hm² (K2O), the yield of‘Ximi 3’was the highest.
