Abstract: To investigate the impact of different vegetation on soil erosion, the soil erosions under three different vegetation of the eucalyptus forest, longan tree, mixed forest were studied in this test. The results showed that: the amount of the water, soil and soil nutrient loss ranked as follows: mountain ash forest>orchard >mixed fores. Compared with mountain ash forest, the orchard whose water, soil, available nitrogen, phosphorus potassium and organic matter in soil losses reduced by 4.43%, 96.51%, 95.29%, 96.20%, 93.00%, 96.09%; and in the mixed forest,it reduced by 5.07%, 98.79%, 98.67%, 98.74%, 98.39%, 98.74%. So, the role of conserving soil and water of the mixed forest was the strongest, the second was the longan tree, and the third was the eucalyptus.
