Identified Difference Maize Drought Resistance and Yield Factors

Abstract: In order to select the suitable breeding and provide a basis for corn drought resistance, 11 maize varieties were selected in this test, bud seedling by drought-resistant agent and breed in dryland, irrigated land. two ecological environment planting appraisal compare their drought resistance. The results showed that, germination of drought-resistant index, relative germination percentage of ‘Dayu 3’ were the highest, which were 0.92 and 91.91. Seedling stage corn plant height, root length to ‘Dayu 3’ minimum damage rate, followed by ‘Chengyu 23’; ‘Xiuqing74-9’ damage rate most. The results also showed that, ‘Dayu 3’, ‘Chengyu 23’, ‘Zhongdan909’ had the highest drought resistance, they were 1.22, 1.23, 1.07. So ‘Dayu 3’, ‘Chengyu 23’, ‘Zhongdan909’ were suitable to planting in Cangzhou.
