Study on Correlation Analysis of Fiber Morphology and Physical Indexes of Paper-process Reconstituted Tobacco

Abstract: The fiber morphologies of 23 paper-process reconstituted tobacco samples were studied, and the results showed that: (1)there were extremely significant negative correlation between fiber length and tensile strength, fiber width and tensile strength, significant negative correlation between fiber width and filling rate, significant positive correlation between fiber length and gramme, fiber width and gramme.(2)As fiber length distribution, extremely significant correlation: the range 0.6 mm~1.2 mm,1.8 mm~2.4 mm and tensile strength, 1.2 mm~1.4 mm and gramme, significant correlation: 0mm~0.8 mm、2.8 mm~3.0 mm and tensile strength, 1.2 mm~1.6 mm and thickness, 2.2 mm~2.4 mm and equilibrium moisture content.(3)As fiber width distribution: the range 10 μm~20 μm、30 μm~55 μm and tensile strength, 50 μm~55 μm and gramme, under 10 μm and density, 10 μm~15μm,35 μm~40 μm,45 μm~50 μm,55 μm above and gramme, 25 μm~30 μm and smolder speed, 25 μm~30 μm, 55 μm above and tensile strength.
