Abstract: Abstract: In order to study the less chilling requirements and optimal covering time of cherry in the sunlight house, a test of monitoring chilling requirements of cherry in the sunlight greenhouse was used. 3 sunlight greenhouses in the mountainous area of middle region of Shandong Province were selected. The meteorological elements such as temperature were observed from autumn to the end of cherry harvest. And combined the weather change outsides the greenhouse, the covering time of cherry in 3 different greenhouses were analyzed. The results showed that, in the monitoring of chilling requirements, the least chilling requirement of 7.2 models was 1070 hours, and the chilling requirement of 0~ 7.2 models was 484 hours. When the outside temperature drops to - 19.1℃, 30% of flower buds were frozen. The covering time of cherry should be selected before the strong cold air coming.
