The Development of Producer Services and Construction of Urban Agricultural Socialized Service System

Abstract

Abstract: Agricultural producer service is a kind of specialized and socialized intermediate service provided to agricultural production process, and is also a new industry emerging at a certain stage of economic development. Based on the existing research, this paper starting from the definition of producer services, then discusses the difference between concepts of Agricultural Productive Service, Agricultural Socialized Service, and Agricultural Modern Service, and the interrelationship between producer services and agricultural development. Finally, according to the functional features of urban agriculture, this paper concludes that urban agriculture has the better circumstances to develop agricultural producer services in advance than traditional agriculture, and puts forward to some policy recommendations which construct the sustainable development system of urban agriculture producer services.
