Abstract: The study took several generally reported exogenous phenolic acid as the reagent, by potted experiment, to reveal the effect of different concentration exogenous phenolic acid on the stage of soybean seedling growth. By setting five kinds of different concentration of exogenous phenolic acid on potted experiment, the author discussed different concentration of exogenous phenolic acid on the index of potted soybean seedling growth. The main results were as follow: three different kinds of concentrations of exogenous phenolic acid effected gently on the height of potted soybean. Compared with the control, benzoic acid treatment and cinnamon treatment significantly increased the leaf area of the potted soybean seedling at a concentration of 1.0 g/kg. When the phenolic concentration was 1.0 g/kg, benzoic acid treatment and vanilla acid treatment significantly increased the number of potted soybean nodules, and the impact of cinnamic acid treatment was small. There was an increasing trend of the root-shoot ratio of the seedling potted soybean under the three kinds of different concentrations of phenolic acid, when the concentration was at 1.0 g/kg, the root cap ratio was No.1. The low concentration of exogenous phenolic acid had no significant effects on potted soybean growth and development on the whole. High concentration of exogenous phenolic acid inhibited the aerial parts of potted soybean growth, increased the number of nodule potted soybean and improved the root-shoot ratio of potted soybean.
