Abstract: With red radish and radish cultivar‘Xinlimei’as test materials for the preparation of test crosses to study the inheritance of radish cultivar‘Xinlimei’skin and flesh color trait through P1, P2, F1, B1C1F1, B2C1F1 and F2 six generation joint analysis. The results indicated that the two traits separate generations B1C1F1, B2C1F1, F2 plants showed a single peak and partial distribution, indicating that radish cultivar‘Xinlimei’skin and flesh color were quantitative trait controlled by major genes and multiple genes. The inheritance of two genetic traits was in line with two additive- dominant- epistatic major gene + additive- dominant- epistatic polygene model (E model). The heritability of the major genes in F2 of skin and flesh color trait was 93.64% and 88.19%, respectively, but the polygene heritability was lower. For radish cultivar‘Xinlimei’, skin color and flesh color choices could be made more appropriate in the early generations.
