Abstract: Spatial structure of the land use and its dynamic in Xifeng District, Qingyang, Gansu Province was quantitatively analyzed based on the land use changing data from 1997 to 2012. The characteristic of spatial land use structure of Xifeng District was analyzed with Lorenz curve and the Gini coefficient based on the land use data with SPSS. The results showed that the land use structure of Xifeng District was more evenly distributed. From the perspective of spatial scales, the spatial distribution of irrigation and transportation land and other construction land were the most uneven. From the perspective of time scale, farmland, forest land, urban and rural construction land, other construction land and unused land were scattered distributed, while, garden, grassland, other agricultural land, irrigation and transportation land were more evenly distributed.
