Research on the Competitiveness of Gansu Province Wine Industry Based on Diamond Model

Abstract: In order to research the status quo of wine industry competitiveness in GanSu Province and its influencing factor, we carry out research on several potential wine enterprises in the HeXi corridor area of GanSu Province, and conduct analysis of the collected data. The wine industry competitiveness of GanSu Province are introduced through the ‘diamond model’, After using the principal component analysis to analyze the influence factors of its competitiveness, the study shows that the wine industry of GanSu Province has been taken shape, but lack market competitiveness, less professional talents, in short of standardized management grape of planting and brewing technology, and industrial facilities are not complete. In conclusion, technology, policy and brand are the main factors affecting its competitiveness.
