Abstract: In order to study the difference of climatic factors between the south of Gansu and the famous tea producing area of China, the meteorological data such as mean temperature, precipitation and sunshine duration etc. of Hangzhou, Kangxian, Wudu and Wenxian from 1961 to 2010 had been used for the study. The agricultural climate similarity distance between Hangzhou and other areas had been analyzed. The results showed that the similar extent of meteorological factors between Hangzhou and the other tea producing areas in south of Gansu were higher and could pass the hypothesis testing. The study also indicated that the agricultural climate similar distances between the south of Gansu and Hangzhou were small and the south of Gansu could transplant the famous tea. We supposed that the Wenxian could be chosen as the most suitable place to transplant the Longjing tea and Kangxian and Wudu could also transplant Longjing tea. As a developing tea area in the south of Gansu, the tea industrial would be expected to perform well.
