Abstract: In order to improve the matching probability of tomato advantage combination, combining ability and heritability of four fruit quality traits of six tomato parents and 30 hybrid combinations were studied. Six tomato parents (referred to as No.42, No.43, No.44, No.50, No.63, No.69 in the text) were used to develop 30 hybrid combinations by Griffing complete diallel crossing. The author carried out the difference analysis on pulp thickness, fruit hardness, vitamin C contents and contents of soluble sugar of F test values, found that all traits were at significant or extremely significant level, therefore, there was statistical significance of the differences of selected parents on pulp thickness, fruit hardness, vitamin C contents and contents of soluble sugar. According to the performance of general combining ability effect and special combining ability effect of four quality traits of each parent, No.43 had the highest or higher general combining ability in contents of soluble sugar and fruit hardness, which were 0.1557 and 0.0917, respectively; No.69 had the highest general combining ability in tomato vitamin C contents, which was 80.8132. In the selection of comprehensive performance excellent quality traits, combination No.50×No.43 had high special combining ability effect of four quality traits, and was a good breeding variety.
