Comprehensive Evaluation of Strawberry Varieties by Grey Correlation Analysis

Abstract: In order to accurately evaluate the 12 new introduced varieties of strawberry, 9 traits indices, including fruit characteristics, yield, plant height, etc, were assessed comprehensively and analyzed quantitatively with the grey correlative degree analysis method. The results showed that the equal relational degree evaluation of various varieties to sequence was‘chaozao’> ‘gongben’> ‘liyinv’> ‘tuotemu’> ‘guinugan’> ‘hongyan’> ‘sengena’> ‘hongzhenzhu’> ‘falandi’> ‘fengxiang’> ‘meixiangsha’> ‘tianchali’ . With consumers selection of strawberry fruit and the opinions of all sides, the different traits of strawberry were given the weight value, and the weighted incidence degree was‘liyinv’> ‘chaozao’> ‘guinugan’ > ‘gongben’ > ‘hongyan’ > ‘tuotemu’ > ‘falandi’ > ‘hongzhenzhu’ > ‘sengena’ > ‘fengxiang’ > ‘meixiangsha’ > ‘tianchali’ . Two times ranking results showed that‘liyinv’ ,‘chaozao’and ‘gongben’had high yield and better integrated traits, and they were more suitable for popularization in high elevation mountainous area of Lijiang.
