Salt, Acid and Alkali Resistance of White Clover (Trifolium Repens L.)

Abstract: [object, method] In order to obtain the high resistance rhizohia strain, We isolated four stains rhizohia from the root of trifolium repens L at different locations of hubei university of arts and science to study the resistance on the salt, acide and alkali. [result] The results showed that the three stains rhizobia in salt concentration up to 60g/L NaCl of TY medium can growth. Another strain has very high resistance for NaCl, it can be normal growth in 100g/L NaCl TY medium. Four rhizobium strains both can growth normally in pH 1~12 TY medium. [conclusion] This shows that the symbiotic rhizobia with trifolium repens has strong resistance against stress, and lay the foundation for development of the high resistance of bacterial fertilizer.
