Abstract

Abstract: In order to study the control effect of pheromone trap board on Aleurocanthus spiniferus, 20 pieces of trap boards were installed on tea plants per 667 m². Then insect population was investigated every 2 days, and the correct control effect was calculated. The field experiment results showed that pheromone trap board had good control effect on Aleurocanthus spiniferus, the control effect gradually increased and the mean population density of Aleurocanthus spiniferus dropped from 923 to 190 individuals every 50 leaves after the trap boards installed for 20 days. The correct control effect was 78.9%, and still remained high after the trap boards installed for 20-30 days. The effect of using pheromone trap board to control Aleurocanthus spiniferus could last for a month.
