Abstract: In order to provide theoretical basis for rational use of mungbean varieties, 10 agronomic traits of 55 mungbean germplasm resources were analyzed through factor analysis and cluster analysis in this study. The results showed that the variation coefficient of 10 agronomic traits was from 8.57% to 47.19%, among them the highest was seed weight per plant, and the lowest was growth period. Further study divided these traits into 5 main factors, namely podding number, plant height, seed number, seed weight and growth period which represented 86.340% information of total traits by factor analysis. 10 accessions of mungbean germplasm resources with excellent traits were selected based on comprehensive score. According to the results of cluster analysis, 10 quantity traits of 55 mungbean germplasm resources could be classified into three clusters. Cluster I, cluster II and cluster III included 22 accessions, 7 accessions, 26 accessions, respectively. Combined with the comprehensive evaluation and cluster analysis, in the mung bean production in heilongjiang province, ''Ann green 8'', ''Jiamusi yellow mung bean'', ''Jilv 1'' could be not only used as breeding materials, but also planted in large area.
