Abstract: The paper aims to evaluate tourism climate resource value of Guide in the Yellow River valley of Qinghai and guide a healthy and sustained development of tourism industry. Meteorological data of 55 years (1961 to 2015) of Guide were used to analyze the tourism climate comfort, including temperature humidity index, cold index and dressing index. The results showed that: the most comfortable period for tourism in Guide was from June to August, followed by May and September, then were April and October, and the uncomfortable period was from November to March next year. During the tourism period, the comfort level was July＞ August＞June＞September＞May; and these months all showed an upward trend of comfort; the comfortable days of tourism showed a significant increase trend, which was 1.7 d/10 a; the average comfort period was 142 days per year which accounted for 38.9% of the whole year.
