Abstract: Abstract: The aim of this study was to analyze and identify the bioinformatics features of the family members of GATA transcription factors in pepper. It lays the foundation for further experimental research for the future.By means of bioinformatics means, HMMER and SMART software were used to identify the GATA transcription factors in pepper. Bioinformatics analysis of GATA transcription factor in pepper was carried out by software such as Clustal X 1.83, MEGA5.05, GSDS and MEME. This study identified 24 members of the GATA transcription factor family in pepper. The results of phylogenetic tree showed that the 24 GATA family members could be divided into 4 subgroups. The results of GSDS software showed that the distribution of intron and exon of GATA transcription factor in pepper. The results of DNAMAN software and MEME software showed that most of the GATA transcription factors in pepper were conserved. Chromosome localization software MapInspect analysis showed that the GATA transcription factor of pepper was not evenly distributed on 12 chromosomes of pepper. This study identified and analyzed the bioinformatics characteristics of GATA transcription factors in pepper, which provided a theoretical basis and practical significance for further study of its function.
