Effects of Salinity on Chlorophyll Fluorescence Characteristics and Leaf Anatomical Structure of Robinia pseudoacacia L. Cutting Seedlings

Abstract: To study the effects of salt stress on photosynthetic characteristics and cell structure of Robinia pseudoacacia L. cutting seedlings and explore the salt resistance photosynthetic characteristics of differentR. pseudoacacia varieties and the difference among varieties, twoR.pseudoacacia varieties’seedlings were taken as test materials, after NaCl treatment, the effects of NaCl stress on chlorophyll fluorescence characteristicsand leaf anatomical structure were studied. The results showed that there were significant differences of Fm value under different NaCl concentrations. ΦPS Ⅱ , ETR and qp gradually decreased with the NaCl concentration increase.NPQ sharply rose and showed a significant difference. With the NaCl concentration increase, CTR of‘Yuyin No.1’significantly increased and SR decreased compared with control, and the stomata opened. But the leaves of‘3-I’were wilted and deactivated, and the stomata closed. In general,‘3-I’ is greatly influenced by NaCl stress, while‘Yuyin No.1’has salt resistance and shows a strong adaptability under NaCl stress.
